Brothers and Sisters,

Your Bargaining Committee, which includes Sisters Shelly Brownlee and Kari Essery of the TCRC-RCTC General Committee, met with the Company in the presence of Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services (FMCS) in Toronto commencing May 7.

The reality is that we do not have much to report to you at this time except to say that we remain determined to negotiate an acceptable agreement. To this end, we have agreed to meet with the company with the assistance of the Mediators next week in Calgary.

We continue to be supported fully by Teamsters Canada and appreciate their ongoing assistance and guidance. Your continued support and understanding is appreciated and your Bargaining Committee remains committed to negotiating an agreement that you will find acceptable.

Your Bargaining Committee will keep you informed on any further developments.
