Premier Gary Doer is on the road again -- this time to Mexico for a trade corridor summit.

Doer left this afternoon for the three-day meeting in the central Mexican city of Guanajuato, which has attracted Mexican state governors and President Felipe Calderon, Canadian business leaders, and Quebec Premier Jean Charest.

On the agenda is improving the continental trade corridor that links Mexico, the United States and Western Canada through a network of rail and highway links.

Premier Doer will also tout Winnipeg's bid to become an inland port - a hub for rail, air and trucking transportation.
