It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Brother
Del Scammell.
The members of Teamsters Canada Rail Conference wish to extend our
deepest sympathy to the Scammell family. Brother Scammell will be missed
by all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

DEL SCAMMELL March 28, 1950 - June 18, 2008 Suddenly on June 18,
2008, Del passed away at home at the age of 58 years. Del is survived by
his grandchildren, Phyllissa and Clarence; his mother Ruby; siblings,
Jim (Judy), Sandra (Garry), Barry, John (Wendy), Jean, Robin (Danny);
step-daughter Tracey (Doug); stepgrandchildren, Ashley and Dani;
numerous other relatives and his beloved dog Pepper. He was predeceased
by his daughter Delaney; father Robert; brother-in-law Larry. Del was
raised and lived in the North End of Winnipeg and worked for CP Rail for
over 30 years. He was master of all trades. Del had many friends from
all over North America whom he met in Mexico annually. A Celebration of
Life will be held on Monday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral
Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at
www.cropo.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Del's memory
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. 586-8044
