Sisters & Brothers,
Brother Tom Handkamer made his last trip on Friday June 24th (on the Selkirk Road Switcher) after 37 years at CP Rail.
Tom has proudly served our members as President, Legislative Representative, Provincial Legislative Representative and Vice National Legislative Director (He plans on finish his terms as PLR and VNLD). In that time he has gained the respect and friendship of us all. His professionalism, guidance and example have left a lasting impression on everyone who has been fortunate enough to have worked with him. Tom’s contributions to our union have truly improved working conditions for all of our members. Simply put Tom is a great guy!
As we congratulate Tom on his well-earned retirement we know that we will miss his presence at work. The members of Division 76 would like to extend our best wishes to Tom in whatever comes next.
